I have modified my lower arms to lower the mounting position of bag and increase stroke length. I also have the strong flex bushes it looks like you’ve gone for. I wanted the poly flex ones to give me adjustable camber on the front uppers.
I think it could be the front level sensor that’s causing the issues over the block. Do you have access to vagcom/vcds to check what heights the individual sensors are showing?
Try taking off scuttle pan, run it up to temp with heater on hot and you will see 2 pipes running through bulkhead with a white line on. These are the highest point of the system and allow you to vent any air. Give this a try see if it helps may need a few times though.
Hi you can buy them from TPS directly just walk in to your local, mine was around £40-45 and can be bolted to either side, you need to remove the rear seats to fit them and there is body coloured tape over the designated holes.
Mine is an 04 and my wife's is 03 and we have fitted these to both...
Not sure where you are but I can recommend Adamss24 on here he is the 2.5tdi guru and always goes above and beyond when it comes to these. Most people on here that have had any experience of Chris and his work will tell you the same.
He is North East London Area.
I took the door trim off and just unplugged it, I left it unplugged whilst a second hand unit arrived. Definitely worth a check for the sake of 2 screws. Access is so easy on the Allroad too as its a 2 part door.
Where are you? My laptop has full vcds if your near Devon or Bournemouth. Did you still spray it with WD40 just to make sure?
The next place to check is the drivers door lock, these have micro switches which the seals go on. My wife's Allroad had this one day it was fine, left it while I was...
It does sound like the ccm I had similar issues and also when you lock it it unlocked itself. I took it out wire brushed the pcb with a soft wire brush and WD40'd it then resealed the box and it's been fine. That was almost 3 years ago, I found it was the rear wash wipe pipe had come apart on...
My mate has a D3 and has done the same conversion he had the same brakes I currently have so hoping it's straightforward otherwise I've blasted and painted them for no reason!!
The calipers are ally but carriers are steel. Will let you know how I get on, mate with the D3 reckons they're spot on.
I've gone for A8 D3 4.0tdi/6.0 petrol front calipers 360mm discs and bolt on. They're massive so luckily I am already running 25mm spacers all round to clear my airbags.
I am on 19's though
Will post photos fitted during the week.
Venom Motorsport do the H&R ones which in my opinion are the best as they have steel inserts to bolt to, just be aware that they list their website as a total track widening so if you want 25mm per side you need to order 50mm and the best ones are the B+ style.
I have ran these on my last 4...
