    A8 D3 Reception/heated screen issue

Hi all. Got an issue with the sound system/heated screen on my 07 A8. General reception, be it FM or DAB isn't great where I live and drive to work, so this problem is most likely exaggerated. FM reception is fine on the BBC channels but anything local, there is always a faint staticy...

    sub removal

Not too difficult really, I'm assuming it's a saloon non BOSE. Pull the rear seats forward, the mesh will just pop up with a flat clean screwdriver. Can't remember if you actually need to pull the carpet shelf up but if you do, just undo a couple of screws on top, underneith the mesh grill...

    Dension Ice Link

Yeh, I've done that and it works ok. I think I just had a different impression of what it would do. I thought you could just flick through the albums on the iPod. Nevermind, it's in now.

    Dension Ice Link

Cheers Andy. I've actually spent most of the day sussing it out. It doesn't help as I'm new the iPod thing too. It seems that I have to add albums to playlists so, if you've got a few albums on one playlist, it's quite hard to navigate. It wouldn't be as bad if my headunits' display...

    Dension Ice Link

Is it just be being an idiot or is controling the iPod via the head unit a bit of a pain??? Got it all wired up no problem and the iPod interactive mode works fine. I have a Concert 2 in a B6 S4 and I'm quite new to this iPod lark too. I seems you have to create a playlist of 5 albums...

    Rear speaker cable colours

Out of interest James, what system are you running? I was going to simply add a new sub and amp, powering the rear speakers (and sub) as I did on my last car. Reading a post by AndyMac, he recommends amping the front and not the rear. Not sure what to do now???

    Phatbox question....

Hello chaps, Any help would be much appreciated..... I've just bought a second hand phat box. I fitted no problem and got it working. When setting it up for my specific head unit, it gives me options of 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D', etc etc. I have a Chorus (the car is a 2002 S3) with cassette. Does...

    Preouts on a Chorus headunit.

Hello there chaps, I'm new to the forum so forgive me if I'm repeating earlier posts. Just a quick question...are there any preouts on the back of the Chorus head unit? I'm wanting to add a better quality sub and amp as I don't have a Bose system. I've found this adapter, don't know if...
