Yeah, spent all saturday doing it, gave some of the panels a quick clay (bumper, bonnet and wings) and then a coat of Jetseal and some DoDo Rainforest... Wanted to do more but time ran out... still a good day all in all though :)

What's your water pressure like? IIRC those things need a fair amount of pressure to really work. Also make sure you dont have any of the "stop" connectors (the ones with red fittings) as I understand that they can lower the flow rate by as much as 30%!!! What product and solution are you...

Don't forget to give your wheels some love too!!! I just clayed mine this weekend and gave them 3 coats of Jetseal....

Good job mate! I did the same this Saturday, only I left mine on the car as they are only 2 weeks old... Washed, clayed, polished, sealed and waxed. Then drove to Sunderland and back... will see later in the week how easy they are to clean now...

I remember years ago that people said you shouldn't wax a new car for 6 weeks as the paint needs time to fully cure and harden. Is this still recommended?

Yeah, I guess when you have a good few grand at stake, it changes the perception of whats worth trying....

Guys, tell me what you dry with.... I have one of those Megs (I think) water magnets, but it's huge and doesn't seem to actually soak up any of the water, merely spread it around.... So what do you recommend?

You also need to make sure that it does not have too high a speed - the porter cables have a low speed, essential for good (and not damaging) results

Any idea where to get the 110v yellow plugs that plug in to those yellow transformer thingies? I Got the transformer from Screwfix but they have stopped selling the plugs, which is kinda stupid if you ask me. Anyone know of any retail stores (in the Harlow/Essex area) or national chains that...

Hey guys, how about a little write up on how you look after your kit - like keeping washmitts clean, cleaning pads etc? Especially chamois/drying towels, they are a nightmare!!! I never know the best way to clean stuff and what to use to clean it with so I end up throwing "soft" things into...

Looks like rain-x for rich people. Actually a buddy of mine used to work for Farecla, and they had some screen sealant which he applied to my car and it lasted for more than 6 months - I got rid of the car with it still working so it could have been longer...
