Went back last week sadly.
I've never seen a Golf in such a poor condition; I've only just got rid of the rash I had from sitting in it whilst logging the car
Its the worst example of a Golf GTI I've ever seen :puke2:
Did some logs with Grant when it first came to him - its missing about 30 horses due to a knackered MAF :(
Congrats Grant :icon_thumright:
May have a proper challenge for you mate. Missus has a Clio with paintwork that's seen better days... will drop you a text to pop up and you can cast your 'certified eye' over it and see what you think :ninja:
Plates were from Dubmeister and are 100% legal :icon_thumright:
Surrounds I found on Ebay
2 x Number Plate Frame Surround Black for AUDI S LINE on eBay (end time 15-Dec-10 20:04:17 GMT)
Screw the holders to the car and the plates then clip into the surrounds ;)
That it did!
Here's another from the weekend
I'm a firm believer that people's first mod should be to get the paintwork sorted. You can have the sexiest wheels on the planet but if your paintwork is **** then no one is going to notice the wheels lol
Hehe don't worry bud an hour later and she was looking good as new again
Wheels were a doddle to wash - quick blast with the jet wash and 95% of the dirt vanished!
Roads have been crap mate. Those pics were after over 500 miles of driving :crying:
I...
No probs and I'm more than pleased with the results Col  The results you got helped reinforced my decision about buying a Lava Grey as it was originally my 2nd choice behind Dolphin Grey.
I love how it can look several different colours depending on the light, a trick which...
No probs mate - really chuffed with the results you achieved despite the weather :)
Bit shocked you thought there was no protection as when I clayed the roof and bonnet I did put a couple of layers of Collinite on it
I'll have to pop up for a cuppa and grab some tips off you mate...
Top work lads
Really surprised at the amount of claybars you went through as it was only a few weeks ago I clayed the roof and the bonnet :(
It looks stunning sat in the car park at work now - the reflections coming off the paintwork are unreal
Just want to say a big thank you to Colin & Grant for their efforts over the weekend in what were extreme cold weather conditions!!
Car looks absolutely superb
Now hurry up and post the remaining pictures :p
