I am having exactly the same issue Drewvic, should be a 40mm drop on the front and it is about 10mm, supposed to be 30mm on the rear and that is what I think I have. Now have to adjust the lights as I have been flashed a few times.
Weighbridge might be a problem.
Having a small issue as the front of the car isn't as low as expected after changing the suspension, so I have been asked by the retailer - I assume it is the maximum permissible as he has asked for it.

I've used Bournes powder coaters in Birmingham, had to get the tyres off but they charged £70 to do two wheels, dipped, blasted and repainted - did a terrific job considering that the wheels were wrecked and losing pressure. :beerchug:
I had to get one (car only came with one when I bought it) - in the end I went to the dealers, partly because it was simple and straight forward and also because it would then (hopefully) come with a certain amount of guarantee / reliability. Cost £180 about 4 years ago and has been perfect...
