Right then guys as the title suggests i wanted the look of a new set of wheels but im broke at the moment so i decided to take a compressor and a spray gun to my s3 ronals. I've mixed the colour myself using bits i had leftover from other projects (white, black and a bit of regular alloy paint)...
im thinking so i dont know the exact temp but just heated the crap out of the mirror and the wrap and its now been 3 days with no shrinkage ( it lasted a day last time then the sun come out and killed them) so fingers crossed.
sorry dude i misunderstood what you where saying . i made that mistake the first time of doing it and when the sun come out it shrank straight back so this time i did post heat. but thanks for the heads up anyway.
@ damo.h - the weave doesnt run out its just the shape of the mirror that its taken to but yeah you do need heat it up, i just heated it with a hairdryer and stretched it around.
@scottm4 - yeah it was really easy. it can be tricky when it sticks to itself but persevere with it and just heat it...

hi guys, im thinking of cutting out my middle silencer box and having a straight through.I was just wondering if anyone has done this and how they got on ? any probs or issues once theyve done it etc all replys would be v appriciated thanx, shawryboy:salute:
why dont you try and cover it with vynl iv done mine its cheap on ebay easy to fit and if u dont like it or fancy a change u can just strip it off. all u need is a hair dryer and a stanley blade. 3m prob do the best quality as it doesnt distort or lose colour when its heated and stretched
