To be honest I never really check my oil now, I used to check it all the time and it never seemed to go down so now I just do the oil change every 6000-7000 miles and leave it unless I'm going on a really long journey ,and it's never dropped below half way between full and empty

That's true Aragon I am on a budget at the moment I think everyone is to some extent, I'm going to look into getting this misfire sorted and go from there I think, just really drives me mad that I just manage to put one thing right and something else goes wrong, but that's just cars I suppose...
