No idea how you got a quote at 1500! for a s3!! but as said above if it's that cheap better grab it asap! my a3 1.6tdi was 1400 for the year ( was 19) , and now got a3 a4 s line quattro which was 1500 for the year ( 20) with 2 years ncb! I'd love to have a s3 ! just can't afford running it...

Well I've had the a3 8v for a year when I p/x it for a a4 3 months ago. In my opinion the a4 is a big step up ahead than the a3, in terms of refinement, wind noise and ride quality. Interior is a step up but the a3s interior was good imo in terms of layout and look just not as good as the a4...
