The M-Cantronic in my S1 seems to affect it negatively by about 3MPG on a 70mph long cruise, but around town it's about the same as stock.

@Ian Whiffen has one on his S1. He loves it :)

I wasn't very happy with the JB1 after I had fitted it to my S1, so I sold it. My thoughts are documented here.

Kim's made a typo in that reply. The correct prices for QST can be found here --> link I had an M-Cantronic fitted to my S1 yesterday by Kim. I can't speak highly enough of it after trying a Burger Motorsports JB1.

The JB1 only works with the EA888 Gen3 petrol engine.

That's really good to hear. I've done a LOT of thinking about how to tune my S1, and I keep coming back to MTM. I'm in the US at the moment and can pick up a Burger Motorsports JB1 for £275, but my biggest worry is that I cannot remove it at the roadside if I break down. At least with the MTM I...

I'm not being anti-finance. What I'm saying is that a £35k Mustang isn't going to lose £27792 over 4 years. It'll be more expensive to go for that lease deal than to PCP one, and we don't even know the GMFV yet.
