Recommend RS3 Rotors (see my build thread). Yes the TTRS Rotors will prob be too wide. They have the deep concave design and may poke out past the arches (MOT fail) or yes catch the arches especially if yours is lowered
Hi Mike
That's correct - my S-Line started off with the round wheel with square(ish) airbag. It's a 2006 on a 55 plate. Where u based? Speak with Ash as mentioned above, he's based near Dartford.
The flat bottom makes the driving experience 100x better ;)
Cheers
Donny
If you do a search the clutch failing / going to the floor was a very common fault in Audi A3/S3 8L and TT 8N models, and happened on my S3 8L. I'm not an expert but it was something to do with the inward metal brackets welding not being up to standard and it leaves some plastic parts in the...
Thanks - great choice on the Rotors. With that offset they were probably from an A4 or something? Honestly I wouldn't bother with Eibach Pro - go straight to Sportline :100:%
You got the ole cogs working now :weary:. Sportline are absolutely fine for everyday roads/driving. I fitted Pro-Kit springs first on my oem dampers and they were ok but hardly lowered the car (-5mm or something) so switched to B12 Sportline which closed the arch gaps nicely but not low enough...
Thanks Jones. The wingbacks are awesome, the way you gotta look at it is yes you're shelling out anything between £1.6k-£2k but you'll roughly make it back when you take 'em out before selling the car. Yes Bilstein B12 is also a great upgrade, go for Sportline. I have thought briefly about new...
Is the reason you want coilovers to tweak about with the ride-height etc or simply to lower the car and be done with it? If the latter you could look at the Bilstein B12 Sportline kit developed in conj with Eibach. Lowers the car nicely and maintains decent comfort on UK's roads
I think they will lower your Black Edition by 25mm or so. Worth speaking with Damian @ DPM.
Yeah just my opinion re nardo. I think Suzuka Grey is 1m times better, check it out:
Yep I was really happy with my AMD stage 1 map and definitely agree with the Eibach Sportline springs, they're awesome. Unless you know someone who does it, wraps can be quite expensive (seen quotes of £2.5k) and I think nardo grey is one of the worst colours on a car but that's just my opinion ;)
