LED headlight conversion that actually works

I failed my MOT a few weeks back due to having LED headlight bulbs set in projector lenses. Apparently the headlight unit is stamped with a code that states it is Halogen or Xenon etc. so even with the correct projector lens fitted if the unit still has the wrong code then they will still fail...

    Cv joints…

How are you guys tightening the driveshaft to hub nut? I had the shaft off mine in the past myself and had to get a special socket and then borrow an extra long torque wrench to do the 200NM and then the 180 degree angle tighten. This was the reason i have always left it to a garage when it...

    Front Door Speakers Stopped Working

I recently upgraded my front door speakers and they have been working great but all of a sudden both drivers and passenger side speakers stopped working. The wiring is fine, the door looms are fine, the fact that both stopped at the same time suggests something else. I have checked the whole...

    Undertrays Slowly Committing Suicide

Can a faulty Egr valve be repaired?

Could also be the ASV playing up. Some folks have success b removing the plastic endcap over the motor and cleaning all the oil out but some say the oil should be in there.

    Headlight removal

I have had to remove my headlights a number of times to change bulbs and due to the adjustable fixings that un adjust when you remove the headlight I have to take the bus down the local MOT centre each time and bung the chap £10 to adjust the beams back to where they need to be. So annoying

    Battery drain...

you need to preform a parasitic battery drain test with a multimeter. Basically shut the car down but keep a door open but flick the latch on the door so it appears closed and turn of interior sensors. Once the car has gone to sleep its time to test all of the fuses to see if any current is...
