Yeah but don't people use blank kits aswell? Or because mine is damaged is it the case of fit a new egr or to have the full thing replaced with a pipe kit ?

well, the remap guys said they only delete the software and if its broken internaly the delete may not work. so me and a friend took the egr off and the manifold and gave them a clean, they were quite bad. when i inspected the egr valve the flap is very hard to push as it gets stuck half way...

Howdy, Can anyone explain what part of the egr is actually deleted in a dpf/egr delete? I've had my motor remapped with the dpf out and egr deleted. The reason I had this done is because I had a loud rattling noise coming from the egr valve area. I was advised that it was the actuator...

Well.... Had my dpf, egr delete and remap today. The egr has stopped rattling, they said the car was already stupidly mapped with massive strain on the injectors so has levelled everything out how it should be, and then advised me that the turbo is whistling like mad and that it may not last...

Just been out with a pal with his vag-com to see what my cars putting out after suspicions of that the dpf may have already been removed and a map already on the car. Anyone know the standard boost of these motors? Cheers

I hope this is the case, if I'll ring audi and give them my reg to see if they know if it was built with or without but it's 56 plate so I thought they all had dpf until 08.
