Hi guys. Item numberf this HTML class. Value is 371569374293 on ebay states that it won't fit the s line version of the b7. I can't figure why? Is there something I'm missing? And what are your thoughts this type of bumper/grill? Has any fitted one? If so, what is the fitment like?
Apologies...
Wanted....s line front bumper. Preferably with the fog lights grilles and phantom black. But will consider alternatives. All thanks to the snow we encountered this morning!
@t8ups is the way to go unless you are going down the oem lights route which is a lot more involved and one that i personally feel isnt needed. I hasd my lights converted by him last year and its been the best decision ive made both in practical and aesthetic terms. His attention to detail is...
Hi guys. My blower stopped working and I read that it could be a simple case of changing the carbon brushes. So I bought some from eBay...opened up the car and got the blower out. What I'm stuck on is how to actually get to the carbon brushes, there's no screws/nuts or clips etc that I can see...
is the only differnece the drl's and active cornering when comparing the oem set up to retro? the cut off and light output is far superior to my bmw factory fitted xenons
depending on where you are, could you not go to him? i did a 240mile round trip to him....exchanged mine with a set he had already made up and was off again in a couple of hours.
what i did was wind the plastic bit all the way down....marked the tops of each at the 12 o clock point and then truned them up 2 and half turns (so the marks id made were now at the 6 oclock position) i found that to be perfect fit with my bonnet/lights.
credit goes to whoever originally...
thatnks for that...but tbh i dont think im going to be taking off the bumper any time soon! im no diy'er and that was perfectly evident over the past 2 weeks. im just glad i managed to get it back together again.
what i will try and do it cut the middle struts down by about 10mm to make it sit...
i think there is a slight design difference between the 'proper' rs6 alloys to those that were fitted to the a8...i know the et is 35 and 44 respectively but yours seem to 'dip' in the middle slightly whereas mine dont.
Thanks. I've got to do a write up and post pics of @t8ups installing the projectors. And then my 2 week long effort of removing the bumper and fitting the grille etc (first time attempting such a thing myself!)
thanks for the info on the wheels and the encouragement!
Ok...just had 245 35 19 fitted all round on my 19 inch 9 inch wide genuine rs6 alloys with et44. I can confirm they fit without the need of spacers. I wouldn't say there's plenty of space left but it's a mil or 2 so I'm happy. Tested them out over some speed humps etc and they are fine. The...
if they are the 19inch 9 wide et44 from a audi a8 then i have the same set wating to go on tomorrow. ive been advised to fit 245 35 19 tyres. i think if i do have an issue...it will be at the front with the suspension arm which means going down the spacer route. I dont really want to fit...
I didn't need anything else doing...trups installed the projectors in my headlights...hooked up the HID kit and put everything back together again. Off I went with some cool looking headlights and awesome light output for night time driving. I didn't need a harness or vcd reprogramming etc and...
can i chip in and say @t8ups kits are awesome...i had the conversion done and the light output/cut off is really very good. I opted to use my own HID kit from HIDS4U.
