Had the new Michelin PS3's fitted on Friday, review to follow. I was watching the guys balancing the wheels, he spun it up about 3 times to get it right, seems to be a lot of weights added! When do you have to worry about the wheel being ****** ?

I have marked on the attached picture where they stop

If they balance out to 0-0 at the end then you shouldn't worry. Only worry when they don't balance out which would mean you wheel is properly buckled!

I would maybe suggest a wheel allignment if your wheels are that badly out of balance.

Hi
i run a tyre business myself,
having viewed your photo i guess from it the weight used is one strip = 60 grams of weight, this is quite normal, you will also have further weights on the very inside edge of the wheel as well, this is known as dynamic balancing. more accurate than the lesser static balance with only one set of weights are used.

this looks fine to me.
