Where can I buy oil for my S3?

Hello,

I need to top up my oil. I am on Audi flexible service intervals and the manual says I need VW 503 01 oil.

I had a look in Halfords but no luck.

Where can I buy the right oil for my car?

I got some from a local motor factors. Couldnt find the Castrol SLX longlife stuff anywhere so ended up getting the mobil 1 its still VW 503 01 though.

Halfords, Motor World, Charlie Browns all never stocked either. Look in your yellow pages for a motor factors like i did.

Hi Rich,

you say don't use SLX II, why is this so bad, I know SLX is slightly thicker and meant for the higher performance Audi's but surely it can do any harm, can it?

Thought it was supposed to be a higer spec oil?

Nothing wrong with SLX II as a oil. I was just saying that you can't use it with variable servicing on a S3/TT (210/225) as its not 503.01 spec.

Fuchs Titan Supersyn SL 0w-30
Castrol Formula SLX 0w-30
Mobil 1 0w-40

These are all 503.01 approved
