A3 8L Autochanger question

Help. I have a space in the boot on top of the sub for a changer. A couple of questions.

1. Does anyone know the part No. or the code for the CD changer as i have seen some on ebay and want to get the right one.

2. Will it plug straight in to the multi plug which is also in the boot

There are only 2 different types, 8 pin and 13 pin, you need the 13 pin, and they are also the most common. The pins on the 8 pin are in a circular pattern (early B5 A4's), the 13 pin are in a square config with only 10 pins actually used. It just plugs into the bus cable in the cubbyhole. If you don't have the fitting bracket then best to use foam sticky pads to secure it to the tupperware sub
