SEAT AIRBAG HELP

i have commented on a post but thought id start a new thread, just after some advice my s3 got bumped and the passenger airbag went off and the light is on. is it a case of new airbag then turning the light out or do i need an airbag ecu? or any other thing i might need??

i think it is just a case of install new airbag checking for damage to wires, then if all ok, it just needs resetting with vagcom or similar.
i would disconnect the battery when messing about with airbags as a precaution....

ok mate thanks for that. will need to send the seat off to be repaired aswell al purchase an airbag and see how i go. cheers

Must of been a beauty of a bump lol, when you say bump do you mean a drift fail?

haha no mate brought it damaged, the bloke was dodging sheep haha. the sheep won!
