Hola,

I'm in the process of planning my second trip to the Alps and Pisa for next Summer, however my little FSI did a sterling job over the 2000 miles covered last year but climbing through the twisting mountain sections it really did suffer and I found myself shifting down a gear from time to time :( is there away of increasing the torque at all on an N/A car, I know Turbos are easily tunable.

Thanks for your time

I'm not too sure, but I would definately go for a remap

No point remapping a N/A car tbh.

A n/a engine has its power further up the revs, so you need to use the gears correctly in order to keep the engine producing a decent amount of power. Keep the revs above 3250rpm when you driving demanding roads and it should perform reasonably.

If you want to pootle up hills at 1200rpm then you've baught the wrong car.

Big money to get more power out of a NA engine, to tune a NA engine you will need a rebuild from bottom up for decent power. I don't know if anyone has stuck some throttle bodies on a FSI engine yet. I used this company when i had my Pug 306 GTI6..
