A4 TQS Anti-Roll bar

Morning, customer of mine wants to polybush his front anti-roll bar, he lives a fair way off and i need to measure the bar diameter, I believe they are either 25, 27 or 29mm, I need to order the bushes without seeing the car?! Make any sense?, no, but the way of the world!

Now, its a 2000, W plate 1.8 TQS saloon, does anyone have any idea as to which size it is, I am guessing its not the 25.

All sport models, FWD and Quattro, including the S and RS have 29mm front ARB's (and 15mm rear arbs on the quattro models)!

do the fwd car's have rear arb's and if yes what size are they ?

Nope they dont.

The torsion beam itself acts like an antiroll bar in effect, although some cars with torsion beams do have additional antiroll bars fitted, Audi didnt bother.

can they be retro fitted then ?

In theory theres nothing stopping you retrofitting one.

In practice you'll probably find no-one makes them.
