2001 A3 1.8t fmic fitting

am new to the audi world, so bear weith me,lol.

is it possible to buy a fmic that will hide behind bumper, and no cutting/trimming needed, basically plug and play?

already done, one has bumper trimmed n no fogs other was a s3, dont know if bumper is same on 1.8t.

Is a fmic a must as i have seen on another thread about an uprated smic which is half the price and is supposed to be as good as a fmic go through the threads over the last month it will be there somewhere. Direct fit as well.

It's possible to hide an fmic behind the bumper
Complety yes, but it still needs trimming on the inside. Search for kingfisher a3 build thread to see it done properly
