DV sound

Hi, im new on here and just got myself an Audi A4 1.8t 190.
Im looking at getting some sort of air filter to make the Diverter valve sound more noticeable.
Is it possible from just a panel filter, or do i need to buy an induction kit? Have heard many things about the inductions kits doing nothing to help the power of the car. Ive seen posts on the Carbonio system, but at £300, id rather buy a Forge Split-r valve and a panel filter, although it does look very nice.

Any advice on this?

Hi mate, i've got the carbonio along with a forge 0007p - when i did the Carbonio i had the standard DV and it was very noticable - the Forge made no difference to volume at all.

Also - most people I know have ditched the split-r's and gone to (or back to) the Forge 0007 jobbie.

Get the car remapped then you will hear the DV working more.
