What are the limitations of the 20v hydraulic tappet

after 7800 rpm's
some people take hydros to 8500rpm's but look @ the powerband
it is literally a brick wall.

When i say limitations i mean revs

When are solid ones needed?

previously for 2 race seasons, 8200rpm limiter applied on mine..
300V motul oil used, which I swear helped control frothing with the high revs..

I've been higher since, but its taking the **** with them.. asking an aweful lot

they have been run to 9krpm but as said its asking a lot

decent sheer stable oil is a definate thing to also consider if revving on a bit

as mentioned 300v motul is what I use in badgerwagen - ester based oil..
Millers do an ester oil also I believe, but not used it.

Motuls worked well for me for several years. smells like a sweet shop too - lol
