The 2.5 tdi i have is now over 4 years old and has behaved inpeccably.

Its now due the big 80,000 mile service which is going to cost £ 800 + from the local dealer. I found another non AUDI approved specialist who was going to save me 300 quid. Just before new year shutdown, I ger a phonecall saying he got it on the ramp but now cant get the back end to rise and thet all the terminals at the compressor are corroded and that the suspension probably was not working for some time anyway.. (I live off road and need the thing to rise to max every day!! - I would of noticed!) Has anyone had similar comments on this 'bad design' as he called it?

So, here is a guy regretting being cheap and letting a cowboy at it.. Looks like he better get it back the way it was or my solicitor will have to be set into action. Apart from taking the thing off him right now, do i insist he sorts it or do i just take it to audi and chase him for the money?

woe is me.....

any good alternative garages near Glasgow in Scotland?

Me Again!

I've tried yell.com to get you a number without success, what I do know is, that he's located First left after MAKRO on the left hand side, leaving motorway, and Follow the road to the end, and he's on the right. It's two units so reasonably large to miss! Try Thompsons or Yellow Pages under Motor Engineers/ Garage Services sorry I can't help much there but you should be OK with Kenny as he has years of experience on Audis including Chris Wagners S2 Rally Car, Jimmy MacRae' 90 Quattro rally car.. Etc So He is familiar with Audis......

Try that and see how you go...

Thanks, will visit him for next service. check on post 'allroad suspension collapse' for the continuing saga
