STAR PERFORMANCE TUNING.........ANY GOOD????

Hi guys been looking to get remap. Ideally would love to go to badger 5,but i live in glasgow and its 6 hour drive. been browsing the net and found star performance,they are based in fife so not to far.

just wondering if anyone on here has heard or had any tuning done there? are they any good basicly!!want my pride and join in good hands,so considering taking the trip to see bill.

I not used them but have heard good things they have a full rolling road and seem to know what they are doing plus £300 for a remap is pretty good for Scotland!

ive used them for a dyno run last year. yeah seem pretty good, semm to know what there talking about.

Thanks for replys guys.that link had good info cheers bud. have been on star performance's web site and they use giac software. never hear of this type so bit wary,i know they have good equipment 4wd dyno etc. so take drive up some time next wk.

i got mines remapped there end of last year, good enough service, main man is a bit of a ***** but as said above, 300quid for a map, thats all i wanted, car runs great now

how did you feel the differents it power/torque? what bhp did your car get up to. all round good value for money or what?

think it was around 260ish ill need to check cant remember, its a huge difference, i went from a 360bhp escort cosworth to a 210 s3 and felt it was ****! with the map its so smooth and powerful, def how audi should have sold it

cool matey cheers.did you get dyno before and after? I want 3"TIP and cone filter that badger 5 are doing but waiting for non-esp TIP to get fabricated. so might wait for TIP then get remap.(ONLY IF BADGER 5 WAS CLOSER TO SCOTLAND) GRRR!

My brother and 2 friends went there the other day for custom maps. Good results all round generally.
