I had them in my pre-facelift lights. You can buy a HID conversion kit for very cheap on ebay now. This looks a good kit, for good money, and they're the correct fitment for pre-facelifts (H7).
Up to you which temperature bulb you'd like and therefore which colour. I have 6000k HIDs which are only very slightly blue, like the new Mercs have. 4000K will give you the OEM white with a tinge of yellow in and 8000k will give a deep blue.
Unfortunately I have no pics, but they made a massive difference in comparison to standard Halogens, just beware that they're not legal in reflector lamps. Hope this helps mate.
