by the looks & sound of things the video has been accelerated... it looks like the car acceralerates ridiculously! hence the sound being totally wrong pitched... prob something to do with copyright...

In my opinion I do not think that it is worth 40+K (with added goodies), I can't help but feel that it has been designed as an afterthought with the sole intention of making one last final profit before the new shape A3/S3 is released.
Everything about it shouts S3 with a few added bits, they couldn't even be bothered to fit the oval pipes that all RS models have.
Cracking motor but not worth the money.

Agree no way is this worth 40k+. The a3/s3 is an old model now and this is its last hurrah. The RS3 should have come out 2-3yrs ago, not now. This is for enthusiasts with lots of spare cash only!!

I completely agree with the two posts above me. You cant blame Audi for trying though.

audi say they normally only release the rs version of cars when that model is coming to its end , so i guess this is the last of the 8p :-(
