Hi All,

Need some help, took my car to a specialist audi garage for them to look into a few problems, i went to pick it up and they had tried to test the ABS controller/computer and had got it stuck in test mode and couldnt get it out. The have been coming to my work taking reading and then going away trying to figure out why it is stuck. This is really starting to annoy me now as the ABS light is on constantly, if anyone knows how to 'free it up' it would be great help. We have already unplugged the battery to try to reset it also tried to make it log a fault by removing the brake pedal switch but nothing has worked so far.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Ben

Do they have a genuine vcds kit?

It can be disabled, if they have genuine kit, then contact RT to advise how you disable this method.

Can it Nigel? When i clicked on it before the only way to get rid of it was to perform all the mad cornering maouvers till it had been through all the tests. Pain in the butt LOL

Yes it can be stopped, but you have to ask RT for the procedure, I do know it, but not at liberty to hand it out to everyone.
