Standard Tyre Size

Does anyone know the standard tyre size for an Audi A3 1.8t 1998 model?? i think its 225/?/?

Any ideas?

205/55/R16 I thought. Do you not already have tyres on it that you can read the sizes of?!!

if 17" rims, it should be 225/45/17

The cars not with me..... otherwise i could have taken a look at them.. All i know is they are Dunlops and on the standard 16" rims.
