Fuel pump?

HI,

I need a new fuel pump for my A4 1.8T 53 plate (190ps - BEK engine).

apart from being raped by main dealer is there anyone else and does it use the same pump as other models?

any help greatley appreciated.

Any garage whether Audi franchise or not will be able to sort you out with the (or a) correct fuel pump for your car. Not sure what the default make will be for audi...maybe Bosch...

if you check the part number, you can call around dealers or parts shops (even ebay) and find out prices. To change a fuel pump is very easy. if your car is a quattro, the fuel pump will be under the rear seats, if it is a fwd, it will be in the boot under the lining.

ok so ive spoken with german swedish who dont even list one for my car and damberley auto factors who can get one but 4 days from germany - wtf, are these rare items or something??

will another a4 model fit?
