I managed to cure my lumpy idle problem. When the car was reved it used to drop to about 400-500 revs then jump up and down and then return to around 900 rpm.
Well i took the ??throttle unit?? off (the bit that the intercooler goes into, and it has a butterfly in it that is right at the front of the car, it goes into the engine)
Well cleaned that out with air intake/carbrettor cleaner. It was sooooo filthy, clogged up with siht!
put it back on and it was fine and has been since. that was last sat.
