Air con Question

Air con on my car never worked, the red light would go off after a few seconds. Anyway, i got the air con recharged etc today and light now stays on but...........

You can hear the fans working and alot of air type noise behind the dash but no air comes out of the vents? Air comes out warm as soon as you un highlight the AC button?

Any ideas, driving me insane in this heat

You need someone with VCDS to re code the stepper motors that open and shut the air flaps. Mine did this a while back and audi just re entered the coding for me.
