RNS-E mk2 Coding Issues - Help Please!

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to retrofit the RNS-E mk2 into my A3 Black Edition that has the following kit (originally had Concert radio)
  • MFSW
  • BOSE
  • BLUETOOTH + MOUNTING PLATE INSIDE ARM REST
  • IPOD CONNECTION IN GLOVEBOX
I have read that I need to change the BOSE pin first which I have done B5 to B7, the old Grey B7 wire from the AUX is now taped up.

Do I need to remove othe two AUX pins and disable in VCDS somewhere?

The unit is installed and working but I must have the coding wrong.

Original coding was -

Navigation: 0209755
Telephone: 0001222

I have changed the Navigation coding to 0209715 Is this correct?
What would I change the Telephone code to ....................?

Also in the CAN Gateway I have ticked the Navigation button, do I need to untick Radio?

RNS-E 0209717 as you've not connected the AUX pins, you can disable the option hence the 1.

If you decide to wire up the aux then its 0209757

Enable the navigation option in the can gateway, clear all your error codes and that's it really
 
Thanks for the info, would it be xxxxxx7 as I don't have a cd changer that why I thought it may be xxxxxx5 ?

Just realised I missed the xxx9xxx for the Bose I presume, I selected xxx5xxx for the A3 8P doh!, thought it didn't sound right.

Will re-code in the morning

iPod acts as CD changer - basically 5 playlists and the sixth is the library, hence the final 7
 
I have now cleared all fault codes except for the two Antenna codes which I know I'm unable to clear without the Antenna mod.

I have also bought an AMI interface and got a loom from Kufatec, do I need to code this also?
 
Yep, if your fitting AMI the code should be 0209725 assuming that you are going to lose the Ipod interface

Also you need to enable Media Player 3 (I think) in the can gateway, but if you do a scan of the can gateway it will tell you which mediplayer is not registered. It's 2 or 3 but I think it's 3.
