Brakes help

Hey guys and gays. As always sure this has been said before but the search function is a little iffy. Got a 03 s3 (standard) and was pricing up discs and pads, found plain disc front + back, front DS2500 + rear OE pads for like 430. But to me this still seems fairly high any recommendation for shops etc.
any help would be appreciated.

eBay. There should be a good selection on there. I use Ebc brakes myself.

i was told stick to standard rear pads and and disc, so you have more money for front pads and disks.

Yep, the rears do very little so if you're short of dosh spend the money on the fronts. And steer clear of anything made by EBC - I've found to my cost on both S3 and Ibiza....

I've got these on the Cordy as they were the best setup I had on the Ibiza. S3 will be going that way next year assuming you can get black diamonds in 323mm.
