Audi Concert Aux/Iphone

Hello everyone, i have a double dun single cd audi concert stereo In my 07 a3 sportback with a phone cradle to the left

I want to put in a aux/iphone line in and change the cradle to an iphone 1.

Just wanted some advice as to what to purchase an where from? And also if changing the cradle is worthwhile or just put in a aux in to the glovebox?

Is the cradle on the dash? (factory prep) To connect your ipod you'll need something like this

I bought this and it was easy to fit although you only get 2 radio removal keys and i had to buy 2 more (couple of quid). I put the cable in through the glovebox and leave the ipod in there as it charges as well.

Yes its in the dash. Factory fitte i can pull it out and its got a plug going into it, but if i remove it. Thers a whole in the dash. Im looking at changing it into an iphone cradle and then run the aux lead through that whole. But the cradles are over £100 :O so im still indecided yet lol
