Disconnecting battery on 3.2

Hello,

I am planning to fit cruise control to my 2004 3.2Q Sport, so I need to disconnect the battery.

The battery is in a box under the boot floor, which is sealed with spline head bolts... which I don't have a bit for.

Is there an easier way of disconnecting it under the bonnet? A main fuse or something?

Not sure about the battery connectors unless you can get a hex key to work.

However, you will need a 12mm spline bit to remove the steering wheel.

Regular hex will do for removing the cover. I had to remove it once on mine and went fine.

Yea the cover is a allen key fitting on my old 3.2

Thanks for the replies. Mine has spline bolts, but I found suitable spline key set in my tool box!
