symphony II volume

does anyone who has this head unit have an issue with the volume?

The issues i am experiencing are:

1. volume above 20 is the same as on 20 pretty much

2. when you have the volume turned up (say anything above 15) when the bass kicks in its as if the system is reducing the volume so that the bass is now lower, and then it comes back, and then the next time the bass kicks in, the same happens again?

they "i have been informed" adjust the bass mid and treble separately so as you increase the overall main volume the bass/mid and treble increase at different levels to keep it from distorting the sound if you get what i mean

no i dont think thats the issue i have, say i set the volume to 20 once the bass kicks in the whole volume with ****** to say what 15 would sound like, and then kick back in at 20. very odd
