Are S3 and A3 Front wiper motors the same?

hi guys,
quick question, are all 8L wipers motors the same? i have a 2001 S3 and the front wiper are moving slower then usual, guessing that the motor is getting a bit tired i was looking to replace it with a second hand unit and was wondering if i can get one from an audi a3 or does the s3 run a specific one?

let me know chaps, also if anyone has one at a decent price i would be very interested

hi i dont think it will be the motor, its normaly the bush's that sieze onto the shafts going through them, happened few times on my mk 4 golf, just take the window wiper linkage out and try and move the wipers with out the motor connected. They should be easy to move, i managed to get mine out then clean the shafts that go through the bush's with some wet and dry then greased them up to stop them siezing again..
