Just found out my DV valve needs replacing, im the sort of person who likes to do as much as possible, don't think its a big job just something I've never had to do before. Has anyone replace theirs also what am I going to need tool wise.:uhm:

Well its an absolute doddle to change on an A3 1.8T. I did mine myself and only needed a flat blade screwdriver for the jubilee clips. What car & engine are you doing it on ?

Its very easy to change. But getting to it is a *****. You can do it without removing the bumper but it is extremely tight. Best way is to remove the bumper. Then its just 3 bolts, unclip, and your done.

It's the FWD, but what i've heard it 3 screws. got a bit confused as the forge is a vacuum valve couldnt work out where the extra hoses were supposed to go.

I've just been looking at the same valve thinking the same thing lol!

Think i'll find a new version OEM tomorrow less headache and from what i've read just as good as the forge.

Yeah i did mine bout 1 month ago and it fine. But changing it for the blow off I think.
