CV Boots - best place to buy, is S3 and TQS same part?

Where's the best place to get some new CV boots? Are patterns any good or are the OEM ones best?

Can I use S3 or TT boots on my A3 Quattro?

Dealer part tbh... seen too many pattern parts fail... I used a pattern part inner boot once and it lasted 6 months..

If the A3 quattro in question has a 5 speed box based on an 02M box or a 6 speed box then yeah, boots 'should' be the same as they use the same diameter joints however as I say, use a dealer part and you will get the right one anyway...

Only exception is GKN boots... they seem to last well...

Id only get a kit from the dealer tbh, When I got one from GSF for my S3 it was wrong I think they supplied a a3 quattro one.

The dealer kit comes with everything you need, new streych bolt , grease etc.
