Hi, the needle is stuck at full and it says 425-435 miles to go!
Really needing a bit of advice on fixing this, costs etc.
Thanks.

Check the float in the fuel tank, can access it by removing rear seat then the round plate.

Only thing I can think of

There is a small float on an arm, like the thing you have in a water siston for a toilet.

But before you start looking in the tank I suggest you drive the car using the odometer - you should know roughly how many miles you can get out of a tank. When you know you are down to around half a tank of fuel left, go for a 'spirited' drive round some twisty roads, that should get the half-tank of fuel sloshing around a bit which should free up the float.

My old Ibiza used to do this when I filled it right to the brim but it always came loose after driving some twisty roads.

Try disconnecting the battery it might reset itself by doing that!

Do I need to disconnect the battery when looking at the float?

almost certainly the sender unit.... did you fill it up then it didnt go down?

Selling it it April, tax and fuel too much.
