Gearbox question....

Does the oil in the gearbox, fill the transfer box aswell?? Or does that have its own oil seperate to the gearbox?? And how much is held in both, and what oil do they take??

if all you are doing is topping up then you fill through the normal gearbox filling point at the front of the box... if draining and then refilling you will need to drain from both the gearbox and the plug in the side of the bevel box (below and left of the inner CV as you look at it...

Can't remember how much it took to refill but I just bought a 1ltr bottle to use as a filler bottle once emptied and a further 4ltrs as I was doing the rear diff as well
