Removal of tailgate handle/opener

Hey doing well at getting answers so ere is another question! Need to fit a new lock open to the inside of my tailgate I see it has two nuts either side but is there anything else I need to know before I remove it? Like how lol?

Not 100% sure but I would guess that you might have to take the large piece of plastic trim off from inside the boot maybe
To access the lock ?????

Out of intrest was it hard to take the big plastic off from behind the tailgate ?? Lol

I think that there's 2 screws to undo then it just pulls off?

There's 2 10mm nuts, you need to prise out the obvious wiring connectors, real easy job

I've taken off the two 10mm how does it prize apart? Feel like its stuck around the lock?

Just pull it and it'll come loose.

Is the handle from the outside going to go through too? Or is it separate? I bought this from eBay ere the item number 220923732353 so u know wat part I'm talking bout
