Does the SDS hack still work with the latest Mk2 RNS-E's? Any down sides to doing it?

I'd like to do it if poss, any guides our there?

I did some research around two months ago and from what I gather it can't be done. I hope things have changed but I doubt it.

MK2 is a hardware related job iirc. MK1 was firmware hack via the DVD-Rom.

Yeap, mk1 firmware, mk2 is more involved & requires programming tools, chip readers etc iirc

Is the VIM hack still available on the MK2? Id guess not as that was also a firmware hack..?
