So I ordered a service kit and a new spring for my 007p.

I assumed I needed a yellow as that's what's in there now.
However, forge have sent me a green, a yellow, a blue and a red. Bonus!!

So now I have the option, which one is best for me to use?

Also it's the first time I've serviced it, so what's the red lube for?

Red grease is to spread around the rings and inside the valve.if your car is standard you need the green spring

Yellow, green just is a bag of ****e even on standard.

Slightly off topic, would a green spring cause an almost flutter like noise when on boost on a remapped S3?

Is it just forge that supply the kit? How much did it cost you?

Got it from eBay, seller was forge though, probably sold by other places too. Just thought it would be best to get it direct. Um about £18 I think. for spring kit as service stuff.

Yeah Having a green spring on a mapped car might cause flutter as the spring isn't able to hold the extra boost. Yellow does the job just fine. Think my reasoning is correct, may be wrong though

Id say the opposite, the butterfly noise is assosiated with a broken diverter valve that is causing air to rush the oposite way past the turbo blades, iv had a weak spring and it makes a wooshy kind of noise due to the are dumping back in.

Thanks for the info on where to buy the kit, will be ordering one for myself :) :cheers
