Removing silicone from carpet...

I was spraying silicone on the glove box hinge and the some of it leaked out of the nozzle and dripped onto the carpet and seat...

Now I have this horse shoe like stain on the carpet and seat... I tried to remove it using autoglym interior shampoo but no joy...

Any advice much appreciated

Silicone sealant? If its not cured you can get it off with multipurpose builders wipes, if it's cured then it's a lot more difficult, but you can get silicone sealant remover from DIY shops/builders merchants

Spray a little bit of Tardis aka tar and glue remover .
