thanks .

if its an a4 m8 most people run 225/40/18 or sline spec 235/40/18's ive gone from 225 to 235 tyres a month or so ago and my car feels much better in the bends etc..... 205 seem very narrow unless your into strecth lol

ideal ill look into it mate , bbs lm are the wheels i want on there what would you reccomend for those ?

It's impossible to recommend a tyres size unless you know a wheel width?

As mentioned all A4's with 18" have 235 tyres which is what Audi fitted then with at the factory.

S-Line wheels are 18's anyway....

17" on mine ? And there genuine ones too hmmmm

Ok, they're probably 5 spoke "Star" wheels then rather than 18" S-Lines.

205 width tyres were factory fitted on the 16" wheels, although some came with 215, so 205 on a 18" wheel would be wrong....

45 profile was factory fitted to 17" wheels, so if going to 18" you need to drop profile to 40 to keep the speedo reasonably accurate...

I am running 235/40/18 on my RS6 wheels.....

I'd agree that 235/40/18 would be best. And as above, of you drop to 225 you'd need to drop the profile also if you want to keep the speedo accurate.

I have 235/45/17's on mine and I love them. :) I think 225 would be too thin, unless they are a pimp wheel which would suit a little stretch.

235/40/18 is the correct size mate :icon_thumright:
