Clicking noise in rear wheel when turning, Haldex issue possible..

Hello all,

In the past month my 1999 A3 1.8t quattro developed a problem where there would be a very loud clicking sound when turning. I thought it was the diff.. but now I don't even know.

I took out the Haldex fuse and the problem went away, so I assume it's from the load that the Haldex unit is putting on the rear wheels. Any idea what it could be?

I have a samiliar problem, when the rear n/s wheel is moving forward it clicks at a certain point, Did you get any joy in fixing yours?
