Post Pics Of Your A3/S3 8v In Here

What was the new car prep work like that Coventry Audi did for you on your new S3? Black is a true test how good or otherwise they are IMO

Excellent, no swirls, at least none that I could find. The handover was super smooth in general, they didn't try too hard with the cross sell of GAP etc. Only small irritant is that they only had iPhone and USB AMI cables, no micro-USB for my Samsung. I'd definitely do the broker/Coventry thing again. Best part of £4k discount and a great buying experience, no complaints whatsoever.

Nice to hear. Thanks for info Nicky :thumbs up:

Quite relevant to a few of us ... ;)

I never did add a photo to this thread when I got my car, so here is one from today after a good wash by Total Detail International who did the original detail when collected on the 9th of Oct. I have done over 2000 miles already, so better slow down as I am supposed to do just 7k a year, LOL. In love with the car, it is everything I wanted.
Spent the afternoon destroying some empty B-roads. #TeamSepang

I saw this today, Java green? The thing that caught my eye though is that it's an S3 with colour coded wing mirrors... Didn't think that was an option in the UK?

which dealer is that mate?

Were Cardiff audi holding an invite only another open event like they did last year?

It didn't look like. It was just parked up. Kind of advertising if you like

Picked mine up yesterday, can't be happier!

1.2T Sportback (due to companycar tax I didnt want a bigger engine)
Pro Line S (EU Mainland version)
Amalfi white

Some quick pictures from inside the dealer as the weather is horrible for the last 2 days.

The reveal was very cool, as my previous car was a Kia and there it went like;
- Here is your key. There is the car. Got any questions? No, ok, enjoy, bye.

This took almost 2 hours, lots of explaining and showing all the smart stuff that the designers thought up. (safetyvest in the backseat, first aid kit under chair etc etc)

Very nice looking car mate! Out of interest did you ask for it to be 'debadged' or did it come like that? Enjoy it regardless!! Mine came debadged also! ! Only thing is I never asked for the car to be debadged, sales guy said cars are getting delivered this way now...

In holland the option debadged is a standard feature. The salesman asked me if that was ok or if i wanted it badged.

It's an option in the UK too! Didn't ask for it but starting to like the 'clean' look at the back! Could have been worse,Could have got the wrong colour! Lol

Fourtitude got a picture of my car at the local Cars & Coffee as well:

Just took a look at the German configurator - interior looks like a joke for the basic S line!

These pictures just make me want my car to be built and here with me!

Looks awesome! Defo the best colour in my eyes.

Hi all

New to this forum, have been a lurker for the past few months having a look at the different threads etc before mine finally arrived!!! Picked her up 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier.

Yes... I picked the manual. I had an A5 coupe before this and it was auto, this got extremely boring as it just didn't feel fun At all, So I decided to go against the trend and have a manual. Don't regret it one bit as I get a proper feel of driving the car.

Hope you all like it!

Nice choice of colour combo. I like it! Just need body colour mirrors to finish it off.

My A5 coupe was S-tronic but I didn't find it boring at all! In fact it was the same colour combo as your S3! What engine was it?

A few more pictures to share:

It was a 2.0 tfsi. Don't get me wrong it was one of the best cars I've had. I just eventually found it boring having an auto, when it wasn't the quickest of cars.

I did test drive the s3 with the s-tronic box and it was great fun, but it's just something about the manual that I prefered!

I had the 3.0tdi quattro and found the S-tronic suited it perfectly. I haven't driven the S3 manual but I think I might try before I commit.

I would, the "gear change exhaust rumble" is a great sound, but realistically how often are you going to be driving round full pelt at 6500rpm :D

Even with the manual. If you let off the accelerator just after you have gone through the revs... The exhaust makes a gargling sound its quality :):audibash:

Almost went for the full black stealth S3 but reverted back to the white

To be honest it was a toss up between the black, white or blue. But I've always liked the stealth look on my cars!

Whites the new black these days anyway haha :)

For some reason I love the saloon in red but not the s3 or sport back models. Can't explain why. Nice!
