how to tell a genuine k04?

a friend of mine bought one when he had his lcr, brand new sitting in his shed still, i may buy it off him to replace mine, nothing wrong with mine just to give it a bit of a freshen up.

so how do you tell its genuine? markings ect.. pics would be great

a good sign is the studs going into the flange on the hot side, if you look at the turbo in this picture below you can see there is an insert where there studs thread into the housing.

Genuine turbo's have these inserts, but copies don't and the stud just threads directly into the cast housing
