Hope one of you might help. I have wanted to replace a Concert Radio/CD player with RNS-e (Glossy frame 193G) into a 59 A3 140bhp black edition with Bose. I have popped out the radio knowing that you have to swap the brown wire from pin 5 to pin 7 on the blue connector but there is already a mauve wire(I think colour blind) there in pin 7 already. I went ahead and fitted everything and it all works. Is the Bose by-passed now as there seems to be no difference in sound or there was a wiring change after a certain year so nothing needs doing. Thanks in advance for your replies.
